A red LED marked ‘Alarm’ and a yellow LED marked ‘Open Circuit’ shall be incorporated in the top of the Module. The red LED will glow to indicate the detection of a liquid & the yellow LED will glow to indicate that the detecting cable has been disconnected. Alarm status and monitoring is via a network, using a CAN Bus system.
i-Zone Detector Model CD-X
The Aqualarm water leak detecting cable shall comprise two flat tinned copper braids separated and protected by Helegaine self extinguishing nylon 66 sleeves. This type of configuration gives protection to the sensing cores against dust and other types of conductive contamination and mechanical damage. The cable is available in modular lengths of 1, 2, 5, and 10m. Each cable is pre-terminated with a male and female locking line plug and socket. The detecting cable can be used on the i-Zone system (for use with CDBi-24) and LeakSense systems.
i-Zone Detector Model STDi-24
The STDi-24 Point of Use Water Detector shall comprise of two components, the detector module and the point detector, connected together via a 1m jumper cable. Both the detector module and the point detector shall be manufactured from STAREX General ABS (SD-0150) plastic. The detector module shall house the electronic circuitry and the point detector shall house the gold plated detection pins.
The jumper cable shall be connected to the top of the point detector via a 3-pin plug and socket. A stabilising bar shall be supplied as a means of fixing the point detector to the floor surface.
Conductive fluid touching the two detection pins simultaneously will cause the detector to enter an alarm condition. Alarm status and monitoring is via a network, using a CAN Bus system.
i-Zone Detector Model FLi-24
The ‘Aqualarm’ FLi-24 Liquid Level Detector shall comprise of TWO components, the detector module and the float switch, connected together via a 1m jumper cable. Both the detector module and the float switch shall be manufactured in high STAREX General ABS (SD-0150) plastic.
The glass filled nylon float switch will be held in place by a sprung clip, secured to the wall at the level desired for the alarm to be activated.
The red LED on the detector module will glow to indicate the alarm has activated. Alarm status and monitoring is via a network, using a CAN Bus system.
i-Zone Detector Model OFDi-24
The ‘Aqualarm’ OFDi-24 Overflow Detector shall comprise a STAREX General ABS box (SD-0150) housing the electronic circuitry. The bottom of the ABS box is fitted with a ¾” BSP threaded connector with two stainless steel sensing probes extending from the end.
The connector should be inserted into a ‘tee’ to enable the probes to sense any water passing through the main overflow pipe. A red LED shall also be incorporated and will glow to indicate the detection of water. Alarm monitoring and status is via a network, using a CAN bus system.
i-Zone Detector Model IRDi-24
The IRDi-24 Point of Use Oil Detector shall comprise of TWO components, the detector module and the Point of Use Detector, connected together via a 1m jumper cable. Both the Detector Module and the Point of Use detector shall be manufactured from STAREX General ABS (SD-0150) plastic. The Detector Module shall house the electronic circuitry and the Point of Use detector shall house the Infra-Red transmitter / receiver, which shall extend from the bottom of the Detector. Its height above the reflective sensing area shall be set between 3-5mm. A reflective area (50mm diameter) must be painted on the floor with paint capable of reflecting light. (e.g. standard white gloss paint) The top of the Point of Use Detector shall be fitted with a sensitivity pot for calibrating the Infra-Red focal point. The jumper cable shall be connected to the top of the Point of Use Detector via a 3-pin plug & socket. A stabilizing bar shall be supplied as a means of fixing the Point of Use detector to the floor surface. A red LED will glow to indicate the detection of a substance. Alarm status and monitoring is via a network, using a CAN bus system.
i-Zone Detector Model TDi-24
The ‘Aqualarm’ TDi-24 Temperature Detector shall comprise a STAREX General ABS box (SD-0150) housing the electronic circuitry to detect changes in temperature and give an alarm signal should the temperature drop below the low temperature set point, or exceed any of the two high temperature set points.
The ‘set points’ are entered via the Control Panel. A red LED shall also be incorporated and will glow to indicate the detection of a temperature outside of the set points. Alarm status and monitoring is via a network, using a CAN bus system.
i-Zone Detector Model HDi-24
The ‘Aqualarm’ HDi-24 Humidity Detector shall comprise a STAREX General ABS box (SD-0150) housing the electronic circuitry to detect changes in the level of humidity and give an alarm signal should the humidity drop below the low level set point, or exceed any of the two high level set points.
Levels can be set between 30% and 100% and are entered via the Control Panel. A red LED shall also be incorporated and will glow to indicate the detection of a change in humidity outside of the set levels. Alarm monitoring and status is via a network, using a CAN bus system.
i-Zone Detector Model RGi-xx-24
The ‘Aqualarm’ RGI-xx-24 Refrigerant Gas Detector shall comprise a STAREX General ABS box (SD-0150) housing the electronic circuitry to detect the presence of the nominated refrigerant gas.
The alarm threshold can be adjusted via the Control Panel. A red LED shall also be incorporated and will glow to indicate the detection of refrigerant gas above the set level.
The Detector can detect the following refrigerant gases.
