Single & Two Zone Alarm Annunciator Units

The CAU range of Alarm Annunciators has been designed to advise operators or security staff of any plant room or environmental faults. The unit can interface to any plant containing volt free alarm or fault contacts such as air conditioning plant, water detection systems, generators or UPS systems. The unit as standard interfaces to Normally Open volt free contacts, but on request can be changed at our factory to any combination of open/closed contacts. The CAU range can also include monitoring of the interconnecting cable between the plant alarm/fault contact and the control unit. Any cable disconnection would instigate a “Sensor Fault” alarm. Complete with an audible warning device, mute push button, flashing 8mm red alarm lamp and 8mm Control live green lamp, on units fitted with the sensor monitoring circuit additional 8mm red (fault) /green (Normal) lamps are fitted to each zone. All CAU units have a common alarm set of volt free contacts and an open collector output for onward signalling to Building Management Systems, telephone dialler or control systems.

Four Zone Alarm Annunciator Unit With Events History

The CAU4 Alarm Annunciator has been designed to advise operators or security staff of any plant room or environmental faults. The unit has four independent zones and can interface to any plant containing volt free alarm or fault contacts such as air conditioning plant, water detection systems, generators or UPS systems. The unit as standard interfaces to Normally Open volt free contacts, but on request can be changed at our factory to any combination of open/closed contacts. The CAU range can also include monitoring of the interconnecting cable between the plant alarm/fault contact and the control unit. Any cable disconnection will instigate a “Sensor Fault” alarm. The unit contains an audible warning device, Mute push button, History & history Exit buttons and a back lit alphanumeric display. A non-volatile event history is included as standard to show the past 250 events. This can be used to identify sensitive areas or faulty equipment.  The CAU4 units has an alarm set of volt free contacts one for each zone for onward signalling to Building Management Systems, telephone dialler or control systems.
